- God is telling Abram to leave everything and stard another life, to leave all these things that can not profit him
- A lot of christians are acting according to the old paths. So many churches and so many different characters: churches with only black people, churches with only white people, gossiping, hatred, ...
It is hard time to leave all those things behind and start a new life
- God was not stupid to tell Abram to leave his country.
If you are a stranger in the land you are living today, have confidence in God: He will help you face the life He wants you to live.

But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
- The greatest sin on earth is when God shows you, and you refuse to believe. He gives you a revelation, a work to do, but you pretend, and refuse to do it, you cover up: you are blaspheming the name of God.
By doing so, you are bringing yourself down.
Do not oppress yourself for nothing when God has already placed all blessings in you.

Hebrews 10:25

- Do not forsake your gathering with your brothers.
There is benefit in coming together, but some despise it because they do not understand this benefit.
Your coming to church must not depend on people.
So often, disharmony prevails among us. Have you noticed that jealousy, anger, unforgiveness, bring chest pain?
All those things can not lead you to life and eternity, but they will give frustration and failure.
You better break off before it is too late. Let it go and you will be free.
Have love for your brothers, do the things of the Lord.
We are here to make a family, not to make enemies.
- Some are so much in darkness that they can not even define themselves.
But the second coming of Christ is at hand already, you need to be prepared.
It is hard time for you to know your roots.
Some people come from their native land with their talismans in the suitcase... you know, just in case...of incasity.
But they do not know who they are in Christ.
- The one in us is greater than the one outside.
We come here, to church, to gather together, because we know who we are in Christ. If not, better stay at home.
The Lors is with you, so you do not have to fear the devil.
If you are sick, relax your mind, call on the name of the Lord, and invite thte Holy Spirit to heal you.
Let your mind be at rest in the arms of your saviour.
Repent, and go away from the evil things.
Put on the whole armour of the Lord, all His light.
- No matter where we come from, we are one family (see Psalm 87)
If you call yourself a christian, you have to be Christlike.
Ask yourself: am I in the true path, or in the opposite side?

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me
- You are not ordinary person when you are a christian: the spirit of the Lord dwells in you
You do not have to be afraid: have that boldness to do everything that seems impossible
If you believe, all things are possible. You can even do more things than Jesus-Christ did (see John 14:12)
We are the branches of the Holy tree, so why are we afraid?
Why do we carry the old things that limit us since 2006 years?
Come out from among them!
You have already chosen the right side, so why are you still afraid?
Do not be only the hearer, but be also the doer of the Word
Let the light of God shine in you and around you.
If people tell you things that trouble you, just go into the Bible to find the answer and the peace, rebuke the so-called friends that bring you down from the presence of the Lord
Continue to eat the Word of God, do not let them distract your attention from the Kingdom of God, do not let them corrupt you. But pray for them, and stay in His path.

- Who you are, you duplicate it around you.
Let you light shine before men. The way you behave, talk, do things, that is the way you can let your light shine
- Your culture spoiled many things in the house of God, your tradition makes the work of God to go up and down.
Do you think that the Almighty gave darkness as knowledge to your forefathers?
Do you really believe that your talismans and traditional beliefs are the inheritance that God has kept for you?

- We are on a journey: we do not belong here.
Once you are a christian, realize that you are passing by on this earth.
Go out from that place, leave this culture away.
When it does not recognize the glory of Jesus-Christ, we need to let our culture behind.
The place where we are going needs just one identity, one passport.
Have you really found your roots? Have you really found who you are?
Check yourself well: Are you from this world or from God?

Believe = perceive → becoming aware
Believe brings growth → increase, development
There are many sources of belief.
But 5 are major ones, things that make us to know God, things that a believer is aware of.
Belief comes out from:
1/ testimony
2/ hearing word of advice
3/ actions of the people of God
4/ preaching
5/ naturally belief from infant
- How many of these things do you have?
The opposite of belief:
. people that do not believe in testimony
. people that have failed to perceive the testimony
. people that have failed to hear what people are saying about God.
They do not listen to advice: you can talk to them, they will never change, never believe
. people that do not believe in the actions of God
. people that right from the womb do not believe in God: God has rejected them

- Why is it so important to perceive, to believe in God, to know God?
2 points, 2 motives:
- for you to grow/increase/develop in the Lord
- to be exposed to the things of God
There are people that refuse the qualification that God gave to them, because of the worldly things

Deuteronomy 29:4
Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day
- The heart to perceive is the heart to know God.
And if God did not give you such an understanding, you will never know Him.
The critical organ in the body is the heart: it is the most important thing.
There are people that know God only from the mind.
- If your heart does not perceive God, you are a pharisee. And if you are, you live in darkness.
- This is the day where God wants us to receive a heart of perceiving

The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet
- It can be that the whole world has rejected you; if it is so, and you perceive God in your heart, you are blessed.
But watch your steps if the whole world is against you
- If you are among 50 people, and friend only 2 people, you do not know God. For we are all in 1 body, and our head is Jesus-Christ
As people used to say :
"Christ is the head of this house, the unseen guest at every meal, the silent listener to every conversation"
- The aim of this church: increase and develop in the Word.
Our motto: The Lord is my shepherd
meaning: the end crowns the work.
The Lord is my shepherd because at the end, God will not leave me empty handed
- Here in John 4:19, the woman does everything according to what God says. She was a prostitute, but because of her, the whole people was saved
So, who are you that God can not use you? Who are you that you hide yourself from the presence of God?
The well of life is deep, how can you make it in life if you continue like that?
- It is your power: what people say about you does not matter.
As a man of God said one day
"It doesn't mean what people say, but it means what Jesus says"
John 4:11
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
- The woman said: the well is deep, how are you going to drink the water?
Jesus-Christ did not care about the life of this woman

- This message came because in this church we do not perceive God in our heart.
The spirit of God is always laughing when it comes to greetings while opening the service

- We need to change!

- God does not care about who you are or who you were, he cares about your heart right here and right now: do not mock God, do not deceive Him, so that you will grow

- All the time, Jesus-Christ used the word "believe" with people
- Faith → comes through belief, its foundation. Faith is the next level.
- That is why Jesus-Christ always attacked people on it: "do you believe?"
He healed a lot, and a lot were not healed because of lack of belief
- Thomas already perceived Jesus-Christ in his mind, but did not in his heart
- Peter also had the same thing: "do you love me?" asked Jesus-Christ to him 3 times.
It is only then that Peter felt the power of the Lord

- Do you understand the meaning of worshiping? talking to God in your heart?
Instead, you pray with one eyes closed, one open...
- If you could see the actions of God, you would change

John 4:25
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things
- She perceived Jesus-Christ in her heart
1/ Jesus-Christ exposed this woman
2/ She knew this man exposed her, and she started thinking that maybe this man was the messiah
- You do not want Jesus-Christ to expose you, and you want to develop? It is never done
If you want to be a fisher of men, expose yourself to the things of God

- This church is Jesus-Christ's, not for pastor
- A church has to have 5 good strong spirits:
1/ preaching spirit
2/ vision
3/ word of God
4/ teaching
5/ understand the prophecy
in order to fight the spirits of:
. unbelief in testimony
. hearing but misunderstanding the Word of God
- Everybody can come and preach on the pulpit, because God sow a seed on this church.
- If you block somebody for not to have these spirits of God in your church, the person will always go away from you.
- Use what God has given to you as a gift, so that you will bless other people
- Church is not a secret society, it is open to everybody.
- Do not wait for people to call you before to come to church

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world
- Miracles are very few: we have heard the man by ourselves
- With our God, we just go down on our knees and he is willing to listen to us: there is no suffering before to talk to God: because verywhere you go, he is always with you.
Because God is your friend

My heart is full of joy

- You are a friend to God, it depends the way you use him → I no longer call you my servants, but my friends (John 15:15)
- Jesus-Christ is a light to my feet: wherever I go, I wait upon that light
- Things that you can not discuss with your father, you will discuss it with your friend, with God
- The Word of God is a spirit: if you receive it, you have received God

- What are you going to say finally, to Jesus-Christ: yes or no?
- The spirit of God is calm and gentle, but his actions are strong and mighty.
- Are you going to honour him from your mouth or from your heart?
- Expose yourself: do not seat on the gift of God.
Do not wait for people to come to church before you

He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
- The disciple is exposed to the things of light,
pharisee to the things of darkness
- Do you believe that the son of God came to save?
I can say: He is the son of God, he is the opener of my life, He is my salvation, and I can say it boldly

- You never know who Jesus-Christ is, that is why you are still crying.

Do you believe in Jesus-Christ? Then you need to follow Him
- Things that people have gone to school for and could not understand, you are having it freely thanks to the spirit of God.
He is the great teacher, even when you are sleeping, he will teach you.
- You will be used by god.
- Get connected, exposed to the things of God: it is very easy

Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also
- Jesus-Christ is telling us: if you know him, you will not misbehave... while service in church is going on for instance.
- Right from now, start to know Jesus

John 8:24
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins
- He that does not believe in Jesus-Christ will die in his sins
If you do not stop the filthy things you are doing, you will die in your sins.
- If I lose the whole world and receive Jesus-Christ, I am satisfied
- If you do not believe in Jesus-Christ, you will die: God is telling us the pharisees to stop exposing ourselves to darkness
- This is the truth: your talisman is under your pillow, hidden by a bible, and you call yourself a believer.
Remove it, because God is willing to bless you; this thing is blocking your way.
Some have talismans, and remove it from their neck before to enter church, some put it in their shoe...
If you use it to make money, or to subdue somebody, you will face the consequences
- There is nothing that can save you, only the power of God

The more love you give, the more you expose yourself to the possibility of being hurt. Yet it would hurt infinitely more to have never given any love.
Sure, life has its pitfalls. The key is not to avoid them out of fear, but to overwhelm them with positive purpose.
For effort, while it can sometimes bring disappointment, more often brings great accomplishment. And love, while it can bring heartbreak, more often brings a level of fulfillment that cannot be matched.
Every experience, no matter what the outcome, adds richness and depth to your life. With the positive moments you build joy, and with the difficult times you build strength.
Engage yourself fully in the details of living, and with each day you add value to your life that cannot be taken away. Be an active, enthusiastic participant in this day, and you'll come away from it with real, lasting treasure.

- Whether we believe in Him or not, God does good to us
- How to receive the blessings of God?
- What is the blessing of God?
- It is better to avoid problems which is a result of blessing than to be delivered from them which is a result of a miracle.
There are three important reasons for receiving from God through blessing rather than miracle:
1/ Blessing prevents from problems while miracles delivers from problems
2/ Blessing is always more abundant supply than miracle
3/ Miracles are temporary fix while blessings are permanent solutions
Blessing: is permanent
Blessing is not things (ex: money, car, …)
Blessing is a divine spoken favour from God when mixed with faith will produce abundance in spirit, soul and body: (Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith)
. how? → through knowledge of the kingdom of life
God prefers to keep us healthy than to heal us

Mark 4:26
And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground
- The kingdom of God: a living experience of a blessed live
The seed is the word of God, the foundation of everything (John1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God)
The ground is our heart (Matthew 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side)
Planting the seed = meditate = to think
Meditate = ask questions:
. when?→ directs you to another scripture→ how? → directs you to another scripture→ why? → etc.
- If you are not controlled by the word of God, you are controlled by the world

Hebrews 4:2
For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it

Psalm 19:7
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple
Converting: change
If your soul is going the wrong direction with depression, discouragement, unforgiveness, anger, only the Word of God can change it.
The average Christian believe on living holy and prayer; not that living holy and prayer aren’t good but for me prayer is like water like fertilizer.
You’ll be considered as crazy if you don’t put any seed, or grain in the ground, and start watering an empty ground and expect something to grow, it means then that you want a miracle.
So before you pray and live a holy live make sure you have planted the seed

Mark 4:26-29
And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come
- God is not a magician.
Jesus-Christ used the image of seed, because with God the process of understanding Him is gradual, step by step.
If you plant something, you get what it back.
You cannot plant a seed of orange and expect banana to grow.
What our life produces is what we meditate on.
- When you sow the word of God, you don’t know what is going on, only God knows.
It is like when a woman gets pregnant: first she doesn’t know that she is; then she knows but nobody knows yet; when the stomach gets big then everybody will know without her telling anyone, and the baby will come out which is the fruit of the seed.
Let’s see what the fruits of the Word of God are:

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law
- The word of God is a spirit: you can tear a bible into pieces, it will not affect the word of God.
We need to place the word of God in our heart
- When you have joy, peace, longsuffering, love, you don’t need anything more.
- The most important is not to know the Word in our mind, but to let the Word be spirit in our life

Mark 4:15-17
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended
- The moment we receive the Word is the time where we are the most fragile.
Satan is after the Word of God not to penetrate in us, because he knows that as soon as we put it on, it will be very hard for him to operate in our life.

Psalm 32:8-9
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee
- The ability to understand the Word is a gift from God.
So we have no excuse: everybody can understand the word of God, nobody should say that one can not receive the Word of God
- No root, no fruit:
When we are just in the surface with the Word of God, Satan will come and steal it.
- Afflictions and persecutions can come in many ways, in order to hinder you to meditate on the Word of God. Because he knows that if you understand the Word, you will be very hard to bring in his kingdom.
- If you have never encountered the devil in your life, it means that you are going the same way with him

4/ Distraction coming from responsibilities
Mark 4:18-19
And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful
- The more responsibilities you have, the less you will see time to meditate on the Word
We cry unto God, but our heart is still on the things of this world
- God wants us to live without problems
- Nothing can fight the Word of God
- If you don’t see something as a problem, then it will not be a problem.
So the next level is to see your life as full of blessings, and without problems
We make the problems, God doesn’t make the problems: it depends on how we see things
- Before the Word of God produces something in your life, you need to have less things
- The blessings of God is the experience of the Kingdom, Jesus-Christ said it: the kingdom of God is at hand
- You can’t change, but the Word of God will change you
- When we have problems, we like people to pet us: “I’m sorry for you, don’t worry, you’ll be ok”, etc.
But Jesus-Christ rebuked the disciples telling them why are you afraid don’t you have faith? (Mark 4:35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side)
So stop crying about your condition and have faith
- The Word of God enables us to go to the other side: cross the river of doubt, depression unforgiveness, anger; and experience the Kingdom of God: we have the key God has done his part by giving us the word, now is for us to make it be alive in us
- We have to spend our time with the Word of God
The work of the Holy spirit

The Word → proceed from the Father
The strength → the Holy spirit
secret → strength and Fater → hidden
divine → the Word → ability to perform action → John 1:14
The work of the Holy spirit is defensive and offensive, rhema and logos, apiritual and physical.
This word cannot strengthen, except the Holy spirit strengthens it.
Strength is secret, you can not see it: it is divine.
The work that you do is the ability of this strength. the strength is the Holy spirit.
The word "secret" means "hidden" → proceed from the Father.
Divine is the ability to perform action, confidence or courage.
When you have strength you have confidence and courage. If not, you can not perform, and have no ability to perform.

The Holy spirit acts in 2 ways: defensive and offensive: rhema (spiritual) and logos (physical, things that we see).
Examples:
. When Jesus was praying in the garden, the angels came and strengthened him
Luke 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him
This action of the angels was the work of the Holy spirit, to defend Jesus-Christ.

When you are in trouble, it is the Holy spirit that comes to your help.
Sometimes, the Holy spirit turns to be logos to you, to attack you when you doubt.

When you have your prophecy, it is rhema. And when it comes to physical, it is logos.

Something needed to proceed from the Father. The Word of God came to the world → who arranged the world had to repair it.
Lucifer had the light, and he lost it. Jesus-Christ is the strength of the Father.

christians abandon God's works.
The work of God must not be abandoned.
Note: all such social and cultural practices appear harmless on the surface, but spiritually they lead innocent christians into bondage to the devil and his demons.
Caution : maintain constant faith and vigilance when you get involved in such practices. Do not create opportunity for any demon to harass you or cost you to abandon God.
If not, you will make yourself an instrument of devil.
1. SOCIAL
Nehemiah 6:2-3
That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you ?
- They sent a message to Nehemiah, who is doing the work of God (repairing the temple) : so that they will distract him from God -like your friends finding excuses to meet you when you are serving God.
But Nehemiah knew that:
1- God is a jealous God
2- he can not serve Mammon and God at the same time
He did not want to be an unidentified believer: Nehemiah wanted to serve God first.
Choose who you want to serve.
Nowadays, we think of our own before God's own.
Even though you don't put God first, Jesus will remain the same: he has already died on the cross. Now it is your turn to die, taking on the cross and following Jesus.
Nehemiah said: I can't leave God today, and follow the world.
See: if God abandon you for one second, you can be sure that death will meet you
Nehemiah 6:8
Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart
Nehemiah said to them: your motive is wrong.

When Asa heard that the people has abandoned God with idol worshiping, and that God was annoyed, he took courage, and start repairing.
Christians have failed to take courage: so Jesus will never work for them. Because he works with courageous people, who stand firm in the name of Jesus.
It will not mean whether you are wearing cross or not.
Take courage: the friend of "ask" is "give". If you don't ask, you will not experience it.
Courage goes with blessing (ex: if you don't resist to the temptation of drinking, you will not know the blessing that is waiting behind).
Flee from the devil, and he will flee from you.
John 13:36-38

You see what courage brings.
Jesus said to Peter: wait this time.
The first time, Peter failed when Jesus invited him to walk on the water : before, Peter was not a sticker to Jesus. In a way, he was sinking.
Here, Jesus says : Peter, you are not ready, the cross is heavy, are you sure? Peter says: I am even going to be Jesus, and die for you. (He is so self-assured because he has healed a sick).
Peter always backslided beacause he was always thinking about his former life.
You need to deny yourself now, the decision must be taken. Nobody follows Him and go back the same.
Sing this song: "I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back"
You must walk with Jesus, not Jesus that has to walk with you.
He is such a gentleman that if you don't come to Him, He will not come to you.
In his road, there are so many dangers. The road is narrow, but He is with you.
2. TRADITION AND CULTURE
1 Peter 1:18-20

You know that it is not by metal or wood that you were saved, but by a precious blood, different from the blood of goats, different from jewels.
For one body, so many spirit are in you : if you have the power of cursing and affect somebody's life, you are a witch.
You want to make it in life? Choose God.
Stop deceiving yourself : marking yourself will not solve your problems.
You can stay in transe fasting for 21 days in smelly things, but 1 day of fasting for God is a problem.
